About

I am a manual therapist and movement educator. I have worked in the NYC area, now including Columbia County, NY, for 10+ years and co-founded elevate cooperative in NYC with long time colleague, Dianne Graci in 2014.  I specialize in movement re-education and work with a range of clients dealing with complex, chronic issues and those just looking to support their bigger fitness goals. I have worked with clients navigating challenges such as disc herniations, spondylolisthesis, osteoarthritis, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, joint replacement and repair, scoliosis, spinal fusions, and more.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA training in classical ballet at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School. Here I discovered my love for movement and the physical experience.  After graduating from NYU in 2009, I pursued a dance career while attending the Kane School of Core Integration studying with mentor, Kelly Kane.

Shortly after the completion of my Pilates mat and apparatus certification, I began teaching at Kinected in Chelsea, NYC eventually becoming a teacher trainer for the Kane School.  After several years at Kinected and the Kane School, I made the leap into studio ownership co-founding elevate. In April 2018, I received my AOS in Massage Therapy from the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences.

When Iā€™m not teaching I continue to explore movement with my own body through Pilates, yoga, dance, hiking, strength training - you name it!  In my downtime, I love to travel, just hang out and drink wine with my friends, family and loved ones and escape into a good book!
